St. Rafael Development Corporation (SRDC) began business in Bacolod where it joined forces with the City of Bacolod in a successful joint venture that yielded important social housing project, Celine Homes. It was a fitting start for the company whose inspirational credo is "Building communities.Transforming lives. For the Greater Glory of God", and which has committed itself to undertaking residential developments that change lives. Celine Homes was quickly followed by the American West Coast-themed The Palisades project. In keeping with this theme The Palisades provides residents with a laid-back, yet stylish lifestyle. Contributing to the relaxed ambience is the fact that only 60% of the estate was earmarked and sold as lots for housing. SRDC's latest, and most innovative project to date, is the Providence, where the emphasis is on forging strong community and neighborhood relationships in an ultra-modern environment. This ambitious subdivision is the first high-end mass housing project in Iloilo and possibly even in the country. Through its achievements and success in the industry, SRDC has been honored with numerous accolades and awards including a citation for being an Outstanding Developer for Visayas -- Bicol Region in December 2003.
